On March 8, 2024, the Trade Union of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the “Family Feast Decoration Competition” with the participation of 27 grassroots trade unions and enthusiastic support from union members across the University.
Participating in the competition, each team decorated a banquet table for 6 to 10 people, adhering to requirements such as balanced nutrition, appealing presentation, affordability, food safety, suitable for many people, and shortest completion time.
The judges selected 11 winning banquet tables, including:
- First Prize: The Trade Union of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment.
- Second Prize (2 prizes): The Trade Unions of the Department of Finance and the Faculty of Accounting.
- Third Prize (3 prizes): The Trade Unions of the Department for Facility Management, the Department of Personnel and Administrative Affairs – the Presidential Board’s Office, and the Inspire Library.
- Consolation Prize (5 prizes): The Trade Unions of the Faculty of Sport Science, the Department of Computing & Computer Services, the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, the Department of Inspection, Legislation & Security, the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
At the end of the competition, the participants enjoyed a buffet featuring dishes from the competing teams, interspersed with performances by TDTU Union members, creating a warm and emotional commemorative day. The event not only stirred emotions among female lecturers and staff members, but also served as a joyful occasion to connect all members of the TDTU family.
