On this page you can find transcriptions of music from all over the world as well as great jazz tracks.
Many of the world beat tunes had a multiple of percussionists instead of drums. I have adapted these parts to the drum set to the best of my abilities. They are good representations of the rhythms played in the music. I advise you to play as written at first, but then feel free to improvise your own parts based on the music. This will help you develop a feel for the music. ENJOY!!

From this album you get three big band transcriptions with absolutely bad-ass swinging drums from the incomparable Dennis Mackrel. Three different tempos; slow groove, medium blues, and fast bop. Lots of kicks to contend with and very challenging, playing along with this stuff will definitely raise your big band game a notch or two. Click on the picture to get the tune list. Order the charts and have them sent directly to your email. Easy!

Drum Set adaptations from this CD-Lo Mejor De La Salsa Para Bailar. These are extremely fun for jamming along. Timbale solos have been re-orchestrated to the set. Try to keep the clave going with your foot as you play along! No matter what style of music you prefer to play, getting some authentic Latin rhythms in your drummer's tool box can only make your drumming better. Click on the picture for the song list.
